Grand-dlie- Big Bending
Demi-plie- half bend, as far as possible with heels on floor
Releve- rise, demi-pointe
Releve soussus- rise under and over
Port de bras- Carriage of the arms
Battement tendu-(baught-ma)- stretched beating battement- movement of the leg away and toward the body.
Battement jete- thrown beating
En croiz- crosswise, in all directions (front, side, back)
Degage- freeing of the foot (to disengage)
Ron de jambe a terre- circle of the leg on the ground (1/2 circle)
En dehors- Outward: en dedand- inward
Balancoire-swing
Cou-de-pied-neck of the foot
