Welcome To The Color Guard Home Page!!!

FALL SEASON IS OFFICIALLY OVER!!   CONGRATS TO THE BAND WHO RECEIVED 1ST PLACE AT EVERY UTAH COMPETITION!  THE GUARD ALSO DID AWESOME RECEIVING 1ST OR 2ND AT EVERY COMPETITION. 

WE ALSO HAD A GREAT TIME ON TOUR THIS YEAR IN LAS VEGAS!!  WE COMPETED AT THE BOA CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS AND HAD A TON OF FUN!


PIRATES!!

The show that PGHS is competing with this year is Pirates of the Caribbean.  Each color guard member is dressed up in a different and original pirate costume.  We twirl rifles sabres flags and tambourines.  We have THREE soloists this year: Kirsten (1st song) Janine (2nd song) and Mikki (3rd song) (congrats to all of you).  We are very proud of our band this year and we love our sets.  In one of our sets we form a skull and crossbones. 

The band got 1st place at every UTAH competition this year!!!!

WINTER TRYOUTS???
PGHS color guard will be having tryouts for their winter team.  I personally suggest that if you are interested in joining color guard you come and check it out!!  Winter Guard is amazing and is my personal favorite season.  (Winter Guard is the section of color guard that is separate from the band and takes place in a gym with backdrops, a special floor and lots and lots of fun!)  Our tryouts will probably be in November so keep checking back here or e-mail me at Rifletwirlingirl@aol.com for info!!   -Kirsten
